This Disclaimer is part of your agreement with CityLot, together with the Terms of Service, Official Rules, and Privacy Policy.
1. Nature of the product
A lot is a colored polygon on a web map plus a public listing (name, link, optional note). That is the entire product. It is entertainment and optional advertising. It is not:
- real property, a deed, title, timeshare, or lease
- a municipal, county, or national license
- an endorsement by any city, landmark, or rights holder whose name appears as a game label
- legal, tax, or investment advice
- an offer of a security, commodity interest, or investment contract
Place names, “Boardwalk,” “City Hall,” and similar words are flavor on a board. They do not describe a parcel in any land-records office.
2. No results, traffic, or income
We do not promise impressions, clicks, search ranking, backlinks, social reach, customers, or revenue. A listing may receive zero visits. Past claims, “war report” activity, and prices other people paid are not a forecast.
When someone pays 1.5× to take your lot, that is a game rule. It is not a resale market, an appraisal, or a return of capital. The prior payer receives nothing unless the law requires otherwise in a specific case.
3. Maps and third-party data
Map imagery, geocoding, and city placement may come from third-party sources (including OpenStreetMap and related tile or geocode services). Those sources can be wrong, delayed, or incomplete. A generated board is a schematic overlay, not a survey.
Links on lots go to sites we do not control. Their content, privacy practices, and risks are theirs.
4. Payments
Card processing is Stripe’s. X Money is X’s. Cryptocurrency transfers are the relevant network’s. Fees, delays, failed quotes, and irreversible sends are outside CityLot’s control once you leave our page or broadcast a transaction.
5. Availability
The site may go down, change, or end. We are not liable for downtime, lost listings due to a steal you did not like, or your decision to screenshot and share the map.
6. No professional advice
Nothing on CityLot is legal, financial, real-estate, or tax advice. If you need that, hire a professional licensed where you live.
7. Limitation
To the extent allowed by law, CityLot is not liable for damages arising from reliance on this site, from a listing, or from a steal. Mandatory consumer rights in your jurisdiction are not waived. See the Terms for the full limitation of liability.
